The National Pharmaceutical Machinery Exposition was first held in 1991. Since 1993, it has been organized by the China Pharmaceutical Equipment Industry Association. In 2008, the Ministry of Commerce approved the concurrent holding of the China International Pharmaceutical Machinery Exposition.
